Chris joined m5 Public Affairs in 2017 with over seventeen years of experience both inside and outside of multiple levels of Government. His interest in public affairs and the motivations of populations and political decision-makers was honed through his 8 years as a senior communications advisor and policy lead in the Office of the Premier, as well as his work in the private sector, representing some of the largest employers in Atlantic Canada.
Most recently, Chris worked in Ottawa as Chief of Staff to the federal depts. of Labour and Status of Women Canada, as well as the Regional Emergency Operations Centre leading on-the-ground crisis communications and, just prior to his arrival at m5PA, he served as the Campaign Director for the re-election of the Mayor of Halifax. Chris has provided a career of sound, honest counsel in the highest-pressure situations our industry enjoys.
